5 Ways to Stay Safer While Riding Bikes

Visibility is critical when it comes to your safety while driving in night as well as at the time of high traffic in day time.
Riding in high-traffic highways and roads can be dangerous without the necessary protective gear, good visibility and safety knowledge.
The more you and your motorbike have the ability to grab the attention of other drivers, the more the chances of accidents will decrease.
Here are some things which should be considered to make your ride safer:
  1. Wear a Helmet-
Head is the most sensitive part of a human body, and wearing a helmet is a best idea to make your head safer while riding the bike.
Today there are variety of helmets available in market which are both designer attractive and comfortable in both day and night. Like internal sun visor helmets, open face helmets, full face helmets, off-road many more others.
  2. Check your bike condition-
Check every part of your website before going to a ride. Make sure your tyres are pumped, a spare is in your backpack and your brakes are lubed — they should be touching the rim, not the rubber of the wheel, working of gears and everything else.
  3. Wear high visibility clothing-
Make sure you’re wearing gear that can be easily spotted while riding or standing. Wearing a high visibility motorcycle vest, jacket or helmet draws driver’s eyes instantly to them which helps effectively to be visible while driving in dark nights too.
  4. Lights or reflectors-
Make sure your bike's headlights, brake lights and signals are working by attaching reflectors and lights to the bike.
  5. Follow the traffic laws
Traffic laws apply to all type of vehicles. It is important to follow them to avoid collisions with other bikes and cars. In most states, biking tickets can be issued if the person isn’t following the law, so beware. Following the traffic rule not only saves money but also helps in avoiding the collisions.
